Parentag makes smart tags that open a digital world the moment you touch a physical product. Every tag combines NFC and QR technology with the warmth of handcrafted leather and wood.

What we do

We make each tag one by one in our own workshop in Istanbul, personalized for its owner. From pet tags to wedding keepsakes, from travel luggage tags to lost & found, we put an endless digital experience behind a single tag.

What makes a Parentag different is that the redirect layer is ours: you can update the content a tag points to whenever you like, and keep using the same physical product for different purposes for years.

Our approach

  • Handmade: every product is laser engraved and personalized to order.
  • Built to last: the physical product stays with you; the digital content behind it can be changed at any time.
  • Privacy: we process your data only for the purpose it was given, and never store full card details.

Our story

Parentag started from the idea that an ordinary tag can be much more than a tag. Put a permanent digital page behind a pet tag, a gift or a luggage tag, and you get a story that can keep changing for the lifetime of the product. Today we carry the same approach from pet tags all the way to corporate products.

Our venture takes part in the İTÜ Çekirdek entrepreneurship program at Istanbul Technical University.
